Davidson

Located  21 miles North of Charlotte with a population of over 11,000 residents. Davidson is regarded as one of the Best Small Towns within the State of NC. With much of its roots tied to the establishment of Davidson Presbyterian college in 1837 the town is rich is history and character.

Adjacent to the College is a Main Street that is fitting of a Norman Rockwell setting with an original Soda Fountain shop that dates back to the early 1900’s and several antique shops and a Village Green that comes alive on 4th of July.

A stroll along Main Street is reminiscent of the towns we remember as children where a many of the shop owners and residents know each other and welcome locals and tourists with a sense what America should be.

The college brings a continued youthful vibe to the town, yet, you get a sense that many residents came here to college and simply never left and decided to raise their families here.

The architecture of the many of the homes resemble the turn of the century style of Southern Victorians and Craftsman style. Many fine restaurants and some boutique hotels can be found dotted around the Village.
