Located just 3 miles from the heart of the Queen City is an eclectic and diverse little neighborhood called Plaza Midwood. A residential Historic District filled with turn of the century bungalows that many resident take great pride in restoring make up the area.
Its central corridor and its name sake is a tree lined boulevard called the Plaza. The area’s largest historic subdivision called Midwood contributes to what is now called Plaza Midwood.
A eclectic Business District is filled with boutiques, antique shops, consignment stores, art galleries and a mix of diners, southern style restaurants and fine dining. On weekends young people from the City of Charlotte are drawn to the eclectic bars for live music and entertainment.

The neighborhood has plenty of sidewalks and small cafes so its not unusual to see residents taking their dogs with them to the outdoor cafes & diners. Most of the establishments are in renovated Historic Buildings making this neighborhood highly desirable for historic, edgy and eclectic style.
