Tega Cay
Located on a Peninsula of Lake Wylie the area known as Tega Cay is often confused by a simple reference to living in Lake Wylie. The name Tega Cay is actually a Polynesian term and means “Beautiful Peninsula” which many residents are not familiar with its origin.
What makes the neighborhood unique is all residents of Tega Cay contribute financially to a community association that gives them access to some incredible amenities that are separate from what may be offered within many community sub-divisions.
This gives all Tega Cay residents access to recreational facilities that include a 27 hole golf course with large Clubhouse Pavilion, 8 Lighted Tennis Courts, several miles of Walking Trails, 2 city owned park which offer baseball and soccer fields. Residents of Tega Cay also enjoy use of the Lake Wylie Waterfront Amenities which include a beach and swimming center, 3 separate areas to launch a boat and a Marina. Additional Tega Cay Parks are in the planning stages which will also be available to residents.
In addition to Lake Wylie, Tega Cay’s South Carolina address draw many residents wishing to find lower property taxes and excellent schools making this the perfect place to call home.
